(Solved) Sanctum gauntlet room locked me out

So I was doing floor 4 of Sanctum for my 8th ascendancy points and 3 rooms before the last boss, I entered a Gauntlet room where this door puzzle locked me out from continuing onto the next room.

The only time the gate I needed to go through opened was when I was locked inside this corner pathway and any time I opened the levers accessible to me, the room I needed for progressing was locked.
I could not roll out, I could not run out before the gate closed, I was hard stuck.
I tried doing the levers clockwise and counter-clockwise, no difference.
I backtracked to check if I had missed anything, I had not.
So I was forced to teleport out.


In hindsight I am now wondering whether the traps on the ground with Affliction icons in them were supposed to be stepped on but considering they looked like traps and not lock mechanisms, I never tried it, and if that's the case, terrible clarity when I've been taught to avoid everything on the ground in Sanctums, by the Sanctum.

Edit: Disregard this post and see my next, I found the solution. It isn't a bug, you have to use the trap.

I ran into the same bugged room two runs in a row. There doesn't seem to be a way out of here.

You can actually clip through the top-right door and pull the switch (sort of, you get blinked back to behind the door right after the animation) but it doesn't seem to register.

I tried hitting all the traps, and it didn't seem to help.

I found the solution :D. You have to use the time-trap then hit the switch inside the left area. Then you will be teleported back by the time trap's effect.

Aah I see, thank you very much for letting me know!

I was very hesitant about stepping on those traps, didn't exactly want to lose my run so close to the end lmao.
