"Gain # mana per enemy killed" not working with "Extra Maximum Energy Shield" map mod

Playing as a Gas arrow poison Pathfinder. After several maps of testing, it seems this map mod causes monsters that have their energy shield intact upon death to not yield mana on kill.

I have noticed that the monsters hit by the initial physical damage of the arrow will sometimes yield mana on kill, but all other monsters in the pack that die to purely poison do not.

Within the same map, using the 'Plague Nova' skill granted by the 'Plague Bearer' persistent buff, which deals entirely physical damage thus breaking the energy shield will always yield mana on kill.

TLDR: Extra energy shield mod causes enemies to not yield mana on kill if they still have the energy shield on death.

Not only do you get no mana per kill. You dont even get EXP unless you remove their energy shield.
I did not see the issue with experience (but I believe you) but +1 for energy shield map gas arrow !
this affects me as a poison pathfinder with poison spread

Not only this, but mobs that have ES and are killed with poison don't have on kill effects, don't reward EXP OR loot at all.

please fix GGG. My pconc build cannot run Corpsewade boots and/or get loot!
Was able to verify a bug with poison and mobs with energy shield. /kills was not incrementing and xp was not going up, unless the ES was broken by other means.

No mana and no exp from kills. Pretty sure rarity does not apply as well.
Same issue with Corpsewade, no XP from mobs with ES
