Unexpected disconnection occurred (every 5-10 minutes)
Title say it all. I have extreme 'unexpected DC' problem since launch. I play 5-10 minutes then I experience insane rubberbanding (5-10 seconds freezes). Here's the steps I tried to fix it without any effect :
- Tried DX11, vulkan and DX12, didn't worked. - Tried a LOT of different graphic options, lowest to highest, didn't worked. - Tried to use 1 core from my 7800X3D cpu, didn't worked. - Updated, restarted my modem and router, didn't worked. - Tried ALL servers, didn't worked. - Updated my GPU drivers, didn't worked. - Tried a VPN, didn't worked. - Tried using my iPhone wireless network, didn't worked. - Verified files on Steam, didn't worked. - Stopped my Bitdefender antivirus, didn't worked. I have 0 problem with any other games on my PC or Xbox Series X or PS5 Pro, the only problem is with POE2 :( I played for 1h30 between 00h30 and 02h00 AM today without any problem, but this morning and this afternoon it's totally unplayable. My setup : - CPU : AMD 7800X3D - GPU : 4090 - RAM : 32 Gb of DDR5 - SSD : everything is on NVME If anybody have any idea, that would be greatly appreciated because I really love the game but for now it's impossible to play. Here's a quick video of the problem, it's like that 80% of the time :( https://youtu.be/2X6EnQZU99E Thank you for the help :) Last edited by SIM007N#6298 on Dec 24, 2024, 2:13:16 PM Last bumped on Jan 2, 2025, 2:19:19 PM

Video for my problem, the only thing I notice is that I have more problems when the servers are highly populated (AKA 8-9 PM on NA EST). I don't have a lot of problem in the morning.

Alright everybody so I found the problem on my side. It was the 5ghz router. I tried 2,4ghz earlier today and I had WAY LESS problem (more stable connection) but I just installed a 75 feets ethernet cable to my PC and... 8 ms network stable, no issue now. For me, not using the 5ghz router and going to ethernet fixed the issue.
