Trading from a new ARPG player (crpg-solo experience games)
The first couple of days of EA i enjoyed the trading, but as time went on it felt like trading in campaign was useless. All the items i would be getting would get outdated, felt like there was no use in using currency to buy ANYTHING when i had so little, now i feel pressured to just build magic find (another change in my build as we learn more stuff) and skip past the campaign to farm maps just to have any meaningful interaction with trade at all. I’ve had to change my build 3-4 times to account for the mandatory rolls i needed on certain gear items. Now every single armor has another mandatory roll which is magic find. There NEEDS to be a mobile trading app with a bit better UX , having the live trade section act like a twitch chat on mobile is so weird, i cannot trade with anyone who is online.
To be honest i just rerolled my character and moved to SSF. I WANT to sell the good items i get , but all of the campaign players went to maps and everyone who is still in campaign doesn’t even bother with trade because it is not that good on console/mobile. Console players are going to pause their game to get on a desktop to do trading, They’re using their phone or God forbid the internet app on their consoles. Last bumped on Dec 24, 2024, 12:07:40 PM

" No... The issue isn't with the app or the trade platform itself. The main reason is that by the third week of the "league", low-level items are no longer in demand. No one is going to spend a ton of orbs to equip the "best item for Act 2" because, by Act 3, the tier of item modifiers will already be better. Also, for second or third characters, it's much better to use leveling uniques. " There are absolutely no issues with trading on the weakest console of the generation, the Series S... The experience of buying items is exactly the same as on PC. Last edited by talraashi#8263 on Dec 24, 2024, 11:54:37 AM

Trading is a joke on consoles anyone who things otherwise is just flat out wrong. Navigating and typing on a website, on a controller like Im on a PS3 again.

" You can use mouse and keyboard on xbox... But I don’t need that… Quite the opposite, if I connect my PC in the same setup on the couch in front of the TV with gamepad - using the trade site without additional devices like a keyboard and mouse becomes impossible. But with a gamepad on a console, it doesn’t become impossible, just a bit slower. Last edited by talraashi#8263 on Dec 24, 2024, 12:10:57 PM
