Spirit persistent bufs as a Gemling (PoE2)

Since I am a Gemling I am able to apply two support gems of the same type on different skills. Now when I apply the "precision" support gem on two different persistent spirit buffs the effects of the accuracy does not show up from the second gem, only the first one on my stats is applied. I don't know if this is intended or a bug.
