Block Chance Missing

Is anyone else having an issue with block chance not showing up? The basic one that you see from a shield is there but the detailed one that I am assuming increases as you add nodes is totally missing. I managed to get it to show one time by switching out shields but that stopped working. I could tell instantly too. The amount of damage I was taking went way up. I had thought warrior was just that bad but my friend switched to warrior and is having an easy time and his block chance is showing.

Yes I am checking when I have the shield equipped.

I stripped all armor off and just put the shield on. I removed all skills.
