Flame Wall + Raging Spirits

Already well known, but for caster types who are leveling, a fire spell such as flame wall with raging spirits persistent buff does probably several more times the damage of most (if not all) other alternatives, at least through the normal game. I'm leveling another character to maps at the moment, and even with gear and a passive tree that's meant to support lightning, raging spirits clears probably 3x as fast as my actual lightning skills, while being safer doing it.

Low-level skills need another pass, imo.

Yeah? How much damage are your spirits doing per hit? What's your character sheet telling you?
This is my experience as well, alongside the gut estimation of 3x clear speed. Find it frustrating cuz, if I didn't feel it was the best way to get value from Minion Damage, I'd rather not use it since it's so visually obnoxious.
Doesn't match my experience. Not that the skulls aren't good and don't deal damage, but that 3x the clear speed. It doesn't match a few other things. However, some of those things pair very well with Flame Wall and/or are fire elemental stuff themselves, which means you use them and the skulls.

Herald of Ash is also very strong. Better against packs of mobs than the skulls, but weaker against lone targets (for obvious reasons).
