Bug In Mastodon Badlands

This is an issue that I have seen floating around amongst MANY pages.

There is currently a bug/issue with the Mastodon Tusks Quest Item NOT dropping from the boss fight. I have defeated this boss on 2 other characters previously with no issues, however, upon going through on my 3rd character this item is not dropping. I have defeated this boss 8+ times now, both solo and in a group, with no item drop.

This issue HARD STOPS and further progression to the point that some people have resorted to making new characters out of frustration. Such a game breaking bug should not exist. This has caused much frustration as I have thoroughly enjoyed my Monk playthrough, yet can no longer do so because of this issue.

PLEASE address this quickly as it ruins the experience for many players and deters them from wanting to make further characters out of fear of this barrier.
