What about you? Can POE 2 convince you? Or will you continue playing POE1? I for one will continue playing POE1 because POE 2 is simply too far away from Path of Exile. Too many factors like 1 death no portal maps, disappearing loot and many other decisions that I don't accept.

Not touching PoE 2 until some major changes happen. I'm just gonna wait for the next PoE 1 league as always.
The game is trying to punish you every chance it gets, while having some kind of fake difficulty to inflate people's ego. It's just a failed Ruthless 2.0, that doesn't even know what it wants to be because guess what: slow and methodical "soulslike" gameplay ain't gonna cut it in maps. Builds that explode screens and oneshot bosses already exist, and will continue to exist and be played because thats about the only fun you can squeeze out of this game. Most of the people saying the game is "fine" are still in campaign, probably over 70% of the playerbase isn't in endgame yet(im being very generous with this number, could be something like 90%) so they simply can't see the glaring issues this game has. This is not a one-time purchase singleplayer triple-a title. This is a seasonal game, and as it is if it was released and leagues were made for it every 3 months it would not survive very long. Game design that disrespects the player's time will only lead to less player retention, so less profit. This game won't be supported by people who leave before they've done the campaign, or after they get to maps and realize just how bad it is. That's just a fact. But there's already multiple essay posts describing all the problems, no need for me to repeat them all here. I'll just hope GGG listens to the feedback of those players. |

poe1 became too bloated with all the content they kept poe2 has too many dumb mechanics and flaws that needs fixing so i play Path of the forum |

Neither, presently. Path of Exile 2 is just too badly-designed to be fun right now, but I can't go back to Path of Exile 1 because I like WASD move too much.

Same on the WASD situation. I can't just click insane amounts as I use to for years of long sessions at this point. it literally hurts

" 100% agree It just feels like work to me, and in a negative way. The game never feels rewarding. It wants to have a dark souls atmosphere, but the reward is missing... crafting is pointless because far too few currencies drop. Then there's the gem system, which is just too bad. I want a new build? Well, I have to farm the gems with extremely bad RNG luck instead of being able to buy them like in poe 1... The whole thing goes on like this, there are just too many bad features movement is much too slow and movement skills aren't really great either.. the game is supposed to be designed for seasons and last 3-4 months but the bosses and acts are much too long and slow.. so it's no fun to do the whole act more than once. in poe 1 I have no problem doing it 100 times so I'm waiting for next poe1 season Last edited by akaelbenpfeil#7100 on Dec 22, 2024, 4:45:15 PM
