fix the SLUGGISH Warrior skills
Its ok for hammer of gods to be slow it's a boss attack but come on Sunder takes forever to land. stampede should be instant and phase throw enemies not that clunky mechanic, leap slam is the worst movement skill of all.
Warrior doesn't feel heavy he feels like a f#$^$ing Lazy turtle. U feel like getting a heart attack while using his skills. Last bumped on Jan 3, 2025, 3:44:10 AM

Yeah Warrior is awful, needs a big buff.
Can't believe GGG said melee would be better, it was already horrible in PoE but I think it's ever worse in PoE2. |

imagine the reason for poe2 in the first place was they wanted to fix melee, but had to do many things from scratch. and now, melee is still the worst.

That's funny, I was just thinking today that I need more speed on my warrior, both speed on my boots and speed on my attacks because he just felt too slow in everything he does.

If your war is the Blocking variety, consider a southern detour in the Passives tree to collect "Parrying Motion"

Slight correction, its not the Warrior that needs fixing, its the Mace skills.
Fully agree with everything said, its very sluggish to use and definitely not tuned for how the endgame reverts back to POE1 speed mapping for efficiency. The Warrior/Mace combination was my power fantasy and I was HYPED to try it when I heard about the archetype, and I am very disappointed in how the entire game seems counter to the design of the Slam Titan. That being said, my opinion is that instead of making the skills faster, give the warrior better access to stacking defensive options. Keep the slow, heavy hitting power fantasy by making such a character able to stack defenses and become a hulking form of solid steel. THAT would be a fantastic way to balance the class. Just my opinion. |

" If the endgame is about speed clearing a map & move to the next map then making the warrior [mace + armour + life] a tanky boy wouldn't help with that. Unfortunately if balance is one of the primary concerns there isn't much that can be done about that without going back to the drawing board. |

I repeat myself.
The flat animation time should be affected by reduced duration (support gem) and reduced duration nodes on the tree. would be such an easy fix and not even overpowered. Skills would still take some time, but not outlandishly long. the current endgame is just impossible with those skills. It was fun and great during the campaign, but in maps you're always dead when using the skill. And canceling your skill will reset your cooldown. It's punishing over punishing Or you have to give dmg mitigation options during those long animation times. either one Last edited by axelchen01#0725 on Dec 29, 2024, 12:52:40 PM
