Is poe 1 dead?! no news? no christmas events... nothing...

Ok, let's talk a bit about poe 1! is that game dead? now that the poe2 arrived?
Last league it was on 26.07.2024.
I was keep looking for news about the game on twitter but, i have notice that poe twitter/x has turned only intro poe 2 news in the last month/ weeks...
So how we do'it?
When i followed the page there was news about poe 1 now is only about poe2?
I should unfollow? cuz i don't enjoy nothing from what i saw in poe 2.
I don't indtend to play the game cuz from what i saw, it not feet my pleasure to spend my time in a game chilling. It's not giving me the vibe that old d2 and poe1 used to gave me few years ago, it turned intro try hard game in order you want to progress.

POE1 will continue to be developed. Late February is the planned date for 3.26

You have to remember the team also got holidays.

Yep it is. I would expect nothing but maintenance mode minor redo of old league mechanics every 6 months.

I think everyone who has followed the early access can see that PoE 2 still requires a significant amount of development time. I don’t expect that resources will be shifted back to PoE in the foreseeable future.

Even though the developers have communicated otherwise, the current focus is clearly on PoE 2. This is unlikely to change until the full release of the game.

Sure, we’ll still get new leagues, and the game won’t be completely ignored. However, major changes like new endgame updates or improvements to the core mechanics of the game will likely not happen for at least another year. :(

Anyone hoping for significant developments for PoE in the meantime will probably end up disappointed.

Yes, actions speak louder than words. Please don't kill PoE 1, or - at the very least - be honest about it.
