Launch PoE2, navigate to options>graphics and look at if PoE2 is using your CPU or GPU (CPU would say Intel, GPU would say NVIDA or their equivalents) If it says Intel, the game is using your CPU which is causing the low FPS

The problem is Windows is automatically setting Path of Exile 2 to run via the CPU rather than the GPU

SOLUTION:

>On your home screen, enter in the search bar "Graphics settings"

>You should have the PoE2 app listed as " PathOfExileSteam "

>(If the PoE2 app is not listed, scroll to the top of your graphics settings window. Below the 'Add an app', you will see the option to 'Browse', click it. Click on the drive you have steam & PoE2 installed on. Now navigate to your PoE2 folder by going ' Program Files (86x)>Steam>steamapps>common>Path of Exile 2 '. Click on the file that says ' PathOfExileSteam ', then click add. Now exit from the browse folder and you should see the app 'PathOfExileSteam' listed in your graphics settings window)

>Click on the ' PathOfExileSteam ' app in your 'graphics settings' window and click "Options"

>You should see three options listed. If you have "let windows decide", this is what is causing the issue.
