gemling legionnaire, equipping two Vitality support gem

gemling legionnaire, equipping two Vitality support gem on different persistence buffs doesn't stack

it still provides 1% (perhaps there are other support gems as well)
Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact... same fucking thing... over and over again expecting... shit to change... That. Is. Crazy. thinking: "This time is gonna be different. No, no, no please... This time is gonna be different."

Came here to report this as well. With the Gem Studded node, I noticed that with two different herald skills active, equipping vitality in each does not produce additional life regen. Only the first one appears to count.
yeah seems to be the case with all spirit support gems, tested both clarity and precision and no additional effects from the second copy of either
Does any one know if this is how this should work or is it a bug. if not a bug then of course the the description on these should be updated.
I can't say that I "know" what the design intention of auras is for POE2, but this behaviour is expected from POE1.

Auras didn't stack with themselves and you could only run one copy of a given aura (outside of an aura being granted by an item). If multiple party members run the same aura, the largest effect of any auras affecting a given player applies. They don't stack.

I'm not sure that the current buff descriptions are misleading. E.g. Vitality says:
"
Supports Persistent Buff Skills, causing you to gain Life Regeneration while the Skill is active.
Regenerate 1% of life per second while a Supported Skill is active

It does not really imply that the effect will stack with multiple applications. You will gain 1% Life Regeneration while any instance of Vitality is active for you.

Edit: However, it may be a good idea to spell this out for Gemling Legionnaire's Gem Studded passive. E.g., that applying two instances of a passive effect will in many cases not allow it to apply twice (stack).
