sister of garukhan +10% lightning resistance

sister of garukhan +10% lightning resistance, doesn't work for me. I have 23% lightning resistance from gear and after interacting with the shrine i should get +10% resistance, but cant see it. Is it Broken?

Me too. I guess the activated little monster killed me in this room after I clicked on the statue. If it were a physical reward, it would have fallen to the ground after I resurrected. However, this lightning resistance is not an item, so it was not given to me. But the mission is already displayed as completed on the map.

In the OP's case, they probably weren't aware of the 10% resistance penalty you have in Act 2. The resistance from interacting with the shrine countered the penalty--but if you aren't aware of the penalty, it just looks like it did nothing.

Indeed, the lightning resistance is not granted by an item. It's also not granted by killing the monsters--it's granted immediately on interacting with the statue.
