Cqmpaign Map Difficulty Scaling

The campaign should feel like stepping stones to get your build set up for endgame, but some maps feel like sheer cliffs for little reason other than to punish the player. So firstly, maybe having an early game poison bug that nukes your health bar should have its damage adjusted or maybe there shouldn't be an artillery squad all the time. There's no way to mitigate the damage this early. Also, The dreadnought has a RIDICULOUS amount of enemies. I'm all for battling through an area, but it feels more like a slog than a battle. The fact that I need a companion to even get though it should have been noted (Dont play melee by the way). Finally, why is Utzaal so difficult to even get though? This is extremely punishing. Whereas the Black Chambers are ridicously easy. Laughably easy. Like Why? Some of this might be solved if i could mitigate chaos damage easier. Otherwise it's just pain.
