switch ascendancy

hey guys,

just want to know if its possible to switch the ascendancy?
i found some info that its not possible in poe2...?
looks really frustrating to me if you have to make a new character just for these few points after all the balance and patching...

if any1 have an idea or solution for this dilemma lmk
