T15+ endgame repeatablity

hi, i want to start with problem that i encounter then we'll get to solution that i offer after that.

At T15+, where you just repeat maps with avaiable mechanic, a node that doesnt have anything become more and more annoying to do. Map size is huge, monster density just not going to cover it (because of the map size), and i really dont care about this node but i have to do it (thats why i called it travel node).

Poe2 have a tablet as a solution, problem with this solution is its rng, so what i feel as a player, i cant choose where i want to go, i go where tablet told me to go because Im alrdy pay tablet to get the mechanic, it stupid of me if im not go to that mechanic.

Currently there is a way to mitigate this, you clear all the node that you dont want, then use tablet, so you get the mechanic on the node you want. problem with his method is, why do we need this many step just to add a mechanic into the game.

poe1 have alrdy solve this, the endgame repeatablity is great because you can customize your map however you want (by using scarab). This make the endgame not boring, you can always try something.

Now i dont want them to bring scarab to poe2, poe2 alrdy have it, that is tablet. My suggestion is make the tablet not random, play can choose which it applie to. dev can play around with the drop rate, mechanic limit on single node, or how many maps the tablet now can affect to control the "curve or flow of progression".

imo this solution will solves the problems, now player have to control to choose where they want to go, there sense of purpose and journey, It also fix the density problem of the map by adding mechanic to it (which i think how it supposed to work) and PLEASE dont put map boss on everynode, i think map boss right now is in very good spot, its a fun node to chase, the problem is just how player add mechanic to node without need to do 1000steps JUST to add 1 mechanic... now that i speak it out loud, damm i missed scarab lols
