Indestructible, untargetable leaping spiders of death

These spiders couldn't be damaged, or targeted (see no hp bar and name at top), but they could damage me. Map is "Desserted"

Also was problematic that I needed to kill 1 of them to finish the map (see 2nd vid, it was skull monster).

Portaling out, or logging off didn't fix issue. I was able to eventually kill them though. What it took was finding an essence shrine in the map and activating that. It blew up. No new monsters came out of it. And the leaping spiders of death were finally mortal. Note that I had not activated the essence shrine till then.

I have the same in campaign, Mastodon Badlands, Act2 cruel. They are just jumping on me, can`t kill them, they don`t have lifebar, following me

I just ran into the untargetable unkillable spiders myself in Maps Hidden grotto. Tried Arc, Spark, Orb of storms and Frost Bomb but nothing works. Not sure what to do since I can't clear the map but I also don't want to fail it.

I also had a permanent curse that gave me elemental weakness but without the symbol above my head. The symbol then appeared above me when I was about to give up on the map. Not sure if related but thought I should mention it.

Edit: Same issue as the OP. There was an essence shrine. Seems like there's a bugged interaction between the essence shrines and the burrowed spiders.

Just ran into another unkillable, untargetable rare creature. There was an essence in this map, too. But completing the essence didn't allow me to kill the creature. This creature was located far from the essence, and I encountered it after doing the essence. Explored the whole map and there was nothing I could do to kill the creature. This was in Vaal Factory. Not sure what the creature was, looked like an archer transcendent.
