Controllers won't click shrine until all nearby monsters are dead
Shrines generally surround themselves with damage effects or buffs that you want to have when fighting enemies but you don't want to be hit by/have your enemies to get.
On keyboard and mouse you can run up to the shrine and click it so you have the buff as you fight the mobs around it. On controller, you auto-target the mobs and can't click the shrine till their all dead (which, depending on the shrine and your build, can be rough). Can we have controller target the shrine over the mobs so you can click it and use it when fighting them, or have it be something like you run through the shrine to activate instead of clicking it similar to breach? Just my two cents. Last bumped on Jan 29, 2025, 8:03:08 AM

Definitely an issue. I ran into it when doing an escape room. And failed my run because of it. I worked around ig by binding the "action" to a button without another attack on it. So LT+LB, something down the list of good button combos. But yes, please improve the targeting.

I know a workaround for this:
You can bind Interact to another button that is not an ability. I've binded that to dpad-down, with minimap. To rebind Interact action you need to clear action at first, then bind action you want. Also -- do not bind Interact to another layer that activated on L2 and some dpad button, it will cause a NPC bug and crash: https://www.twitch.tv/slashik_90/clip/LitigiousLazyRutabagaTooSpicy-tGhQO_-qKYi926L1 Last edited by Slashik#3409 on Dec 20, 2024, 6:11:14 PM

Change the action button to left trigger and x

" I think its too valuable bind for that action, its better to keep face buttons for actual spells and abilities |

Hi, I find this too on Xbox.
Even when I've killed nearby enemies and the A button is highlighted on the shrine it still seems to take a few presses every time to activate. |
