False Advertising on Trading

Im sure we have all experienced this but what is up with people listing stuff at lowest prices just to fish offers? Or relisting something after you contact them for double the price. It is very scummy behavior with no way to report them or punish them. In fact they are encouraged.

Not only does it waste peoples time it sets a bad example. These people are clearly false advertising putting stuff at the lowest tiers of price to fish for offers. In any other market this is bad behavior and often reported/frowned upon.

Why do we not have a automatic option to buy it directly? It would save people time (not everyone is on 24/7), frustration, and prevent these time wasters.

Its crap but its call price fixing. It lures people into believing that an item is selling less than what it really is, in an effort to get them to list it at that price. Then they buy them up and relist them for a premium. GGG needs to either create an in-game AH or penalize players for do this. I have wasted many hours already just trying to find one item that I need. Waste of time.

I've had this happen to me a few times today. it's really annoying and such a waste of time and effort
Yea I'm just going to ignore trading for now or forever if they don't fix it.
I've lost count of how many hours I've spent over 3 days trying to get one single item. I've had it up to my ass with the scammy scummy practices.
And GGG is over here not even acknowledging it.

I don't see any big deal besides price fixing.

Lots of players don't have an idea on how much their item worth, so they just set a price and got tons of DMs so they raise the price and that's it.

If you spent 3 days and can't get an item that is not too scarce, then probably you're just targeting the lowest price possible and that is not the market price.
Yeah, many of these are folks that don't realize the value of an item and they get flooded with tells after posting. I don't have a problem with them then raising the price. In fact, I'd advise people to wait a few minutes after you post an item to see if you get multiple responses if they aren't sure what an item is worth.

The bigger problem is the price fixers which wouldn't happen if we just had a basic auction house.
Players, especially new players, don't know the value of their items so they post them very low. If they get spammed with buyers they usually delist it and raise the price until the spam stops. Could this be what you are experiencing? I see this a lot personally. It wouldn't be so bad if items removed or changed in price were updated much more quickly. As it is an item will stay on the website with its old price for quite some time.
