Improvements to guilds, end game, and balance philosophy
Having a ton of fun, but there are a few things I think could make the game more fun
Guilds: let us name the ranks! Have some fun with it. Initiate, member, officer, leader is boring. Let us rename to whatever Loot filters: the filter system is rough. Would love to see something akin to what is in Last Epoch. Being able to adjust parameters in game would be HUGE End Game: the difference in difficulty between the two trial options is crazy; ultimatum seems the way to go. The honour system is terrible, get rid of it. I could see honour being more interesting if it was for traps only. That way, you cant just ignore those mechanics because you have the health and regen. As things stand, it's still terrible for melee, even after the recent changes. It's not fun in the current state, way too punishing. And for the love of god, please focus on fixing skill bugs before nerfs/balance. For example, in the tool tip for Shockwaves, the video demonstration shows rolling slam triggering the Shockwave. However, in game, Shockwaves don't hit or do any damage when using rolling slam. It's literally the only slam skill that doesn't trigger Shockwaves properly, and it's featured in your tool tip. 1. Give honor back on killing enemies that damaged your honor. It makes sense that you need to restore your honor by killing the monster that damaged it. 2. Only direct attacks from Mobs and traps should do honor damage, all those little projectiles coming off other things should not do honor damage. |
