"Submit a Twilight Order Reliquary Key" - Clarifying

Hello,
Somewhat new player to PoE universe, basically just need help clarifying something, I'm assuming when it states "by nominating your choice of unique item" then "You must have the unique item within your inventory or stash to select that unique" its implying that i have to have that unique item in game that I've found throughout my playthrough to be able to nominate it in the submission with my message?
