What can turn off my aura?

I have three auras running on my SSF Ruthless necro: clarity, precision and envy (the last two on generosity).
Infrequently, but often enough that I notice it about once per session, I find that clarity has been deactivated. I cannot understand why.
Some context up front:

1. It is not on a weapon item (it is in helm), and my weapon switch hotkey has been deactivated anyway (must swap manually in inventory via mouse) to avoid such a possibility.
2. It is not on any hotkey bar (neither the visible ones nor the alternative ones).
3. Neither of my other auras ever become deactivated, it is only clarity.

What could cause this that I can change?

Possibly the Int requirement on aura not being met? If you are swapping gear/jewels/passive pts causing you to drop below the Int requirement for something, it would turn off and stay off.

Also, and this is just speculation because I have never tested, but if you drop your max mana due to similar swaps,causing you to not be able to meet reservation requirements, that might also do it? Not sure how the game would choose which one though?

Nothing jumps out to me as a clear offender, but as an experimental stopgap measure, I'd consider swapping it with the Despair in your boots.

Reason being, Desecrate is giving your helmet a relatively high Dex requirement. If you remove any of your +dex gear (amulet, gloves, body armour), the helmet would become unable to be used and disable the aura within it. Removing the amulet/gloves would drop your dex too low due to no longer meeting the body armour's dex requirement and no longer benefitting from the dex granted by it.

I don't know if you are removing gear, such as to test other options, so I can't clearly say that this is the issue--but it'd be worth trying.

Since I never swap gear, ever, in a map, I cannot imagine why my dex would drop. It cannot be my int, which is astronomical compared to what clarity requires (all other gems require more, and those are never disabled).
Yes, of course my mana gets diminished and utterly depleted, since I do also spec MoM, but doesn't that just deplete unreserved mana? And why would it only disable clarity?

For what it's worth, I think I've found the source of the problem:

You can disable auras if you right click on their icon on-screen, and I must have done so unwittingly by using right click on that portion of the screen.

Why would this be a feature? Can you turn it off?
(I realize you can make aura icons not display on screen, which I have now enabled to prevent this issue from reoccurring, but it would be nice if I didn't have to.)
