Not enough ways to get spirit
You get 100 from campaign and 61 max from chest armour and 50 max from amulet. Scepters are huge but only good for minions. Monk works differently. A rune in Martial weapons (cannot help spellcasters). That is every source of spirit in the game from what I can tell (some unique body armours have spirit but they also lock you into certain playstyles).
I want to run Archmage, blink and clarity which costs 170. I need to use a unique amulet so that means there is currently no way for me to ever reserve these 3 spirit skills with this character. If there was some super expensive way like a corruption on the amulet, that would be great but from what I can tell, spirit acquisition is very static if you can't run a scepter or Monk. Obviously this is how they decided to balance it but it is boring imo. You can't play the game without blink (if you haven't tried it you will never go back) so that means you only actually get 40 spirit from the campaign. It's very lame. Mandatory stats on rare gear is not fun at all. I couldn't even use a temporalis if I had one lmao. It's not the end of the world but the game would be more fun if spirit could be invested into in some way other than a mandatory rare chest mod and a mandatory rare amulet mod. we have to many ways to get spirit and to spam stuff. Game should be more toned for self-casting and not stacking auras.

There probably should be sources of spirit in the skill tree, or reduced spirit reservation.
The skill tree needs less nodes about stun threshold or ailment threshold. It needs nodes about stuff that people care about (like spirit!). |

i'm as a minion player (in poe2) would like to have less of spirit on items. Atm the amount it scale character is so huge, you cant ignore it at all. At it's extremely hard to get decent gear +tons of spirit on it.
as for the tree i would like to have more spirit nodes, atm i see only 1 for -12% minion spirit reservation, |

diversity doesn't mean to put everything in our build.
We have Shields, Occult ES shield, Armors, Amulets, Ascedancy classes and two quests. We are being able to get to much Spirit and put to many auras already. also unique items with spirit. |

The spirit system feels like a miss-step when it comes to minions. Works fine for the buffs and auras since it's pretty much just 3 dedicated sockets for them + either a buff to life regen, mana regen or hit rate.
But for minions? You're expected to use a boring stat-stick as a weapon for the spirit it gives. |

I have 3 60 spirit reservations and I'm not even running spirit on my amulet. I could probably even get more out of it if I wanted to minmax it. You have to be creative to make it work. Maybe of your auras is not something you need all the time? Say, do you need archmage while casting your setup spells? I'm using blink on a weapon swap: my main DPS uses Overwhelming presence with Vitality and Clarity (60 spirit) and I have blink on the weapon swap (which I also use to throw grenades, so investment on CDR on the tree works for both things). Maybe you could use a similar setup. Maybe, if you are not using your swap, you could hold a sceptre there? Get creative, find solutions, not problems.
