Ranger issue on PS5 with some support gems or maybe I’m being a PoE noob 🥸

Hello 👋🏽 all, need help - I’m lvl 76 lightening deadeye and having a blast. However, I am having issues putting support gems which work normally with the associated support gems into cast on shock/freeze support slots.

Examples - cast on freeze with voltaic mark won’t take innervate (just won’t let me put it in)

- Cast on shock with ball lightening won’t take deceleration

I have 188 spirit 160 dex and 120 int … so have enough stats to equip em …message says they are not supported?

Wonder if it’s a console issue, as I have seen PC players on YouTube using them?

Any suggestions will be most helpful, I’m leaving damage on the table!

For me they have a red circle like they won't allow me to insert but if I just click on the slot with the support gem it still let's me put them in even though it looks like it won't.
