Remove those volatile purple orbs that chase you around

Me and my 25% move speed boots can't kite these infinitely spawn things while also dodging boss mechanics.

Remove them or make the rate they spawn slower. Christ, you guys really hate melee, huh?

Run faster! Problem solved. Jokes aside though melee isn't in a great spot, in particular Warrior.
Won't ask to be removed, but it could at least dissipate as soon the mob who cast it dies.
Don't run from them. Run towards them, through them and watch them explode behind you.

sorry, this is not a valid complaint. the orbs don't explode right away, they take a couple of seconds before exploding, giving you plenty of time to move or dodge.


it's not a hard mechanic, you just need to understand it. I don't think it needs any change at all.
I won't say it should be removed, but I believe it definitely needs a rework... There are just too many issues with them as it stands:

- Their duration, they last until the next set of orbs spawn.
- Their damage, way too high considering how difficult it is to get ANY chaos resistance. This is more of an issue with chaos damage in general in PoE2 though.
- Their visibility, barely noticeable in a chaotic game like this, until you are already dead.

And the ritual version of this mod just magnifies all of the above problems.

It really is one of the worst, most frustrating things in the game right now. I really think it needs a change.
I'd say all the "damaging ground" some mobs leave after dying should be removed or toned down by a LOT first, but yeah, those purple balls are annoying af. They last way too long...
