Zalmarath The Colossus - Most bugged boss in the game
Hello.
I am a fair believer in the fact that this boss is currently by far the most bugged boss in the entire game and nothing is being done about it in 3 patches now. - If you stand too far away from him, the platform starts to glitch out and you noclip under the map, monks can lose their bell under the map as well - Non existent hitboxes - Constant random oneshots - they are unpredictable with no workaround. Any hardcore character that got past him didn't use any special tactics, they got lucky. There is no way to avoid that bullshit 100% of the time - you will simply get oneshot by his bugged dagger attack if you're unlucky. Please, address this boss. The games good but in 3 patches we haven't seen this even mentioned and it's making so many hardcore players quit it's not even funny. Last bumped on Dec 24, 2024, 3:38:39 PM

Right on. I also just lost my highest hc monk to this. Wish I would have know beforehand.

Yeah, my partner and I are basically hard-stuck on this boss. We've done everything else we can, completed our ascension. Level 30, well-geared, and we just die to bugs. The boss itself isn't hard to deal with, it's the fact that evading its attacks often result in you falling under the map and the camera often goes haywire. Once you get un-stuck, it's a cointoss whether you just die to the adds or accidentally pop up out from under the map right into one of its big attacks and get one-shotted. Straight up: We're dropping the game until this is fixed. We're fine with a challenge but it's just not fun to die over and over to bugs.

" Agreed that there's no telegraphing for that one one-shot (the one that sends the shrapnel out, right?), and that this is not fair for hardcore, but I think you can avoid it in the sense that there's only certain spots in the arena he targets with that, namely, the 5-to-7-o'clock arc across from him at the 12-o'clock (source: died to him a bunch, and I think I learned some patterns in the process). Stay to the sides and you'll probably get hit by his empty hand, but at least you won't get shotgunned. I have wandered through insanity;
I have walked the spiral out. Heard its twisted dreamed inanity In a whisper, in a shout. In the babbling cacophony The refrains are all the same: "[permutations of humanity] are unworthy of the name!" |

Just beat him in forty-five seconds at level 29. Didn't even take damage. Get good.
