Can I gift an EA package to a friend but keep the MTX currency?

Title says it all. I already have account early access and would like to get my friend/roomie into the game since I've been enjoying it quite a bit. I also want to pick up some premium stash tabs.
Can I buy a $30 EA pack, give him the code, and keep the MTX currency, or will it just try to grant an unlock to an account that is already unlocked? Thanks in advance! Last bumped on Dec 21, 2024, 7:58:21 AM

Support does arrangements with gifting stuff to people but keep in mind the support wait times atm.

If you purchase the pack on your account, then you can give your friend the EA key. Just make sure that you both play on the same platform (ie PC or xbox or PSN) as the pack needs to be purchased on the correct one.

Just to clarify, if your account already has Early Access, any of the current Supporter Packs purchased will grant you an additional key which you are free to gift as you see fit.
