BAD Support with no solutions
First – i like POE and POE2EA.
Second – sorry about my bad english but it is not my native language. The support from GGG is very bad – no solutions, wrong translations from different languages, the time between a mail and the answer is not acceptable. After the success from POE2 EA – the company must adjust the members of the support and the support members must be educated. To prove my opinion read the following. My Problem, 25.11.2024 i tried to connect my Steam and my Xbox/Microsoft Account. Error: You cannot add this login method to this account. You cannot merge two accounts with the same login methods. First contact to the support. My fault, i wrote in german. Answer: Please tell us the accounts and 1-2 chars. Then i wrote in english. After my answer with the account details i get following answer: Hi, Thank you for helping to support Grinding Gear Games and Path of Exile! Your order number is: ... You have ordered: Path of Exile 2 Early Access Supporter Pack Total cost: 27.41USD. At this time i already bought 2 Versions – for steam and xbox. Many mails to cancel the wrong order – nothing. Next try – always the same problem – can’t connect the account. 11 Days later – are you able to play on xbox or pc? Nothing about the connection between my accounts. After my answer - You should be able to play via PC once you have added and email and linked your Steam account. At this time i played on pc and xbox – but with the different account. The Problem with the account connection is still there. Next try – answer from the support: It doesn't appear that you have relinked your Steam account. You will need to link your Steam account to your Path of Exile account here … My problem to connect the account is still there – always the same problem and no solution from the support. Contact again – same problem since 25.11. - now we have 20.12.2024 Answer from support – you have separate email addresses . And yes – found out, in my steam account is an old e-mail address from 2012. Try to change it – but don’t have access to the old mail because the provider don’t exist any more. Contact support to please change my address to my new one. Answer: That is not something our system allows. I'm afraid it is not possible to merge these accounts. I'm sorry if this was not the answer you were hoping for… I bought 2 versions of the game because of the feature to connect accounts. And now – can’t connect… - No solution.
