Poe 2 locked out of trial

Hi,

after first trial i used up all the sacred water because there was a message that said: "here i can use the left over sacred water" something along the lines. Then i talked to the NPC and saw you can buy a new relic for a new trial. Is this this only way to get relics or am locked out now of the trial?
