Party-Loot and /Roll

I'd love to see improvements to the party-loot system, or at least more tools for us to manage it ourselves.

Even the options that assign certain loot to players in the party feel busted. It seems it only splits a small portion of the loot between players, with the majority of loot dropping free for all even with those enabled.

As a more near term option - JUST GIVE US A /ROLL OPTION IN PARTY CHAT.

When a unique or high value orb drop that multiple people want, let us settle it fair and square amongst ourselves in game.

It just feels like a bad system currently, I play with friends and we're all pretty chill and polite, but it just gets weird and makes loot feel bad, you don't know if you're taking too much or missing out.

Personal loot like D4 would be best IMO. No hard feelings or fights about who is the faster clicker.

Personal loot would be incredible absolutely the ideal solution.

I'll take /roll as a temporary easy to add thing while they put out bigger fires though.
In the party options or I think in the gameplay options there is an option for free for all, short allocation and permanent allocation..

Free for all is obvious, first to loot gets it.

Short allocation is when something has been on the ground for a few seconds it will then open up to everyone

Permanent allocation is when an item drops for person A person B will only be able to loot it after person A has already interacted with it... aka was full and the item fell back to the ground or when person A picks it up and drops it.

So permanent allocation is basically D4 personal loot but everyone can still see it, this does however exclude white items and the occasional other item.
