temporal rift bug
I came across a very interesting bug... temporal rift + Northern armor, they have a conflict if in temporal rift, there is a modification of the Vitality enhancement...
I have an amulet that gives +33 to spirit, so I have 63 spirits, Vitality + Clarity is inserted into the temporal rift - this way an additional spirit is removed from 63 spirits, and 3 spirits remain with active Artic armour... What is the error in the skill: " at the same time, if Vitality and Clarity are in Artic armor together, then the “temporal rift” skill works.... but... if Vitality stands without Clarity, even while wearing Artic armor, then the “temporal rift” skill is not activated... that is - in order to activate it you need Vitality and Clarity, which would be in Artic armor, or remove Vitality altogether - but at the same time, these enhancements are studied precisely in Artic armor ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and I apologize for the mistakes (I'm writing through a translator, and I'm not sure how best to attach a screenshot) Last bumped on Feb 2, 2025, 10:46:30 AM

Didn't test as much as OP did, but can confirm that having Vitality as a support makes my Temporal Rift unusable.

I have not tested as much as OP either but I can share that I am not using Vitality, I use Cannibalism Support but if I use it in either Arctic Armour or Temporal Rift while using Clarity support I am seeing the same issue...
It's almost seems like if you use Clarity then using any life gaining skill has a chance to break temporal rift? |

I think its purely a reservation issue with temporal rift. What ever coding they have is screwing with it. I have clarity, cannabilism, and herbalism taking a total of 40 spirit, 60 with Blink with no gems, and 5 left over from a +45 armor and i have to remove at least 2 gems for it to work. It doesn't matter what gem i use, or move it around between blink and temporal rift, I have to remove at least 25 spirit for both to work.

Bump.
From my tests it works as following: if you slot +reservation to temporal rift, it adds spirit cost not only to activation, but also to the cast cost of the rift. So, to cast temporal rift, you need at least as much free spirit as its current reservation cost. Given relative uselessness of the rift and usefulness of vitality/clarity and other support spirit buffs, this, basically transforms this ascendancy node to +6 slots for support spirit buffs. Adding to this. Temporal just with Vitality doesn't work at all. Ran in a circle pressing my hotkey to see if anything would happen and the skill never activated

Bad news, this is still broken... and no patch has fixed it yet as of 01/11/2025.
Good news, it's not that you CAN'T use spirit abilities it's that you have to have double spirit. From my testing, you have to have double spirit of JUST what is in Temporal Rift. I currently have 115 Spirit. I have Cast on Ignite (60), Temporal Rift with supports: Ingenuity (0), Clarity (10), Cannibalism (15). Temporal Rift works just fine for me. With this setup I have 30 EXTRA Spirit remaining which is 5 more than the 25 being used by Temporal Rift. If I swap out Cannibalism (15) with Vitality (20) I go down to 25 EXTRA REMAINING Spirit. Temporal rift will no longer work even though I have extra Spirit. This is because of what I stated above about essentially needing double Spirit for just what is socketed in Temporal Rift. I've tested multiple combinations of Spirit and it always comes down to specifically needing double spirit for Temporal Rift support gems that cost Spirit. This forces me to have to have subpar gear just to have extra spirit. Very frustrating. Just got my 4th slot recently and can't use it. |

Same with Herbalism and Cannibalism - Temporal Rift stops working.
I will not be able to add another 30 spirit while getting 5 Exalted Orb per whole Cruel 1-3 acts. |

Doesn't seems related to support gems. It happens to me that TR don't work even without any linked support.
