I just did a point by point comparison between Warbringer and a Gemling who came to my build thread to tell me Gemlings were better. This isn't definitive, since there are other ways I suspect a Gemling can be built, but here is the comparison between our two lvl 96 characters:
Spoiler

So, lets compare your 8.5k life pool with my 3.1k life pool + Defenses. There might be something you are missing:

Vs. Elemental Hit damage: You 75% res. Me 90% res+Wooden wall:
Your EHP: Approx 34k
My EHP: Approx 39k
Winner: Warbringer

Vs. 10 Small Phys hits in a row: You avg. 47% reduction (Round it to 50). Me avg. 80% reduction + Wooden wall
Your EHP: Approx 17k
My EHP: Approx 19.4k
Winner: Warbringer

Vs. Big Phys hits from windup mechanics: You: 8500 life pool. Me 3100 Life Pool+5600 extra from proccing 5 second Jade heritage+Wooden Wall
Your EHP: Approx 8.5k before inferior armour based phys reduction
My EHP: Approx 10.9k before superior armour based phys reduction
Winner: Warbringer (Unless I miss the telegraph portion of the shot)

Vs. Chaos damage hits/over time:
You 75% res. Me 75% res+wooden wall vs hits
Your EHP: Approx 34k
My EHP: Approx 12.5k (15.6k vs hits)
Winner: Gemling

Life Recovery:
You: Regen approx 1800/sec for approx 22% of your life pool per second
Me: 10 use Flask for about 400 life instant + another 1775 over 3 seconds. For the calculation, I'll leave out the instant part and just assume 725 life a sec. That's also about 23% of my life pool per second. Since yours is always up without charges though (and could be supplemented a little with a decent flask), I'll give a small edge to the Gemling here.
Winner:Gemling

Offense:
You:10% Extra Gem Quality
Me: Permanently break opponents armour (without needing an extra gem or skill)
Gem level: Both 40, which is a hard cap.
Winner: Warbringer

And finally cost of gear:
Attribute stacking is very meta right now, and I suspect to get to 990 strength was very expensive. Basic gear requirements for the Warbringer build are much lower.
Winner: Warbringer

I'm not saying Gemling is bad. The huge regen is probably excellent QOL. But it's far from clear to me that Gemling the way you have built it (as far as I can tell from your screenshot) is better than Warbringer, the way I have built it. Particularly when we look at the offense side.

I'll keep my Warbringer, thanks.
And wish you much enjoyment of your Gemling. :)

The answer is titan or gemling. i would say titan is more offensive option due to hulking form. gemling is more qol/defensive one. both should play with hybrid life/es builds tho.
