Pc freezes POE2

the pc freezes when loading locations so i have to reboot it.

does alt + f4 work?

is there a error message in the games logfile?
search for client.txt on c:\

Happening to me too. No way to altF4 or tab out or anything. Have to manually press the PC's power button and restart. This is so frustrating.

alt + f4 not worked because the computer freezes completely. The log file does not contain any errors

many people have this issue, a "fix" is to install processlasso and disable 2 cores whenever poe2 is started, you then are able to close the game with the task manager without having to turn the whole PC off

Is there a plan to fix this bug as part of paid early access?

Turn off Multithread before entering new instance then enable once in instance. Takes care of most crashes. Sad this is happening seems like this should be priority fix

People, with the new windows 24h2 update, the game keeps crashing, had the same problem, was unplayable.
Google Windows 23h2 ISO, Media Creation Tool, download it and resinstall windows. The creation tool gonna do it for you.
Make sure to save important things from the PC on an USB Stick.
May take a while but it will fix the crashes.
