blueflame bracers - firewall / incinerate interactions and/or tooltip

blueflame bracers unique passive "100% of fire damage converted to cold damage"
does not do any damage when using DoT abilities like firewall or incinerate. the conversion does work for spells that "hit" like fireball or living bomb
however, in the tooltip information for the spell it does show that the spell does cold damage equal to what it was meant to do in fire this being the case either the tooltip is incorrect and the modifier description is inaccurate and should be "100% of fire damage from hits converted to cold damage" or the tooltip is accurate and the ability is bugged and DoTs are not converted to cold damage

Cold damage can't ignite by default, this is working as intended (imo).

Incinerate and firewall don't hit enemies, they simply scale with modifiers that care about hits and apply an ignite based on that. Since you would hit with cold damage, the spell can't ignite.

Using Blueflame bracers + The three dragons makes the ignite work again (just remember to lower cold res in that case).

I'm personally using this setup + Blackflame and enemies are taking chaos dot from cold damage ignites :]
