[One Death Map mechanic feedback] This has No place in the current Game with how everything works.

This works very well in Last Epoch, but not in POE 2.

There is just too many things and progress you loose on Death.

You loose the loot

You loose the league mechanics and its feels so bad when there were more than 1 league mechanic and Also its a Boss map.

You loose the Boss

You loose the Waystone itself.

Loose progress (this can be fixed by re doing it) So its okay I guess.

You loose a lot of experience from lv 70.

You loose the tower Buffs/Juicing ?


Thats just crazy punishing for 1 death.


Just reset the Boss/mob health on Player and remove map loss/reset and loss of loot.

Whoever designed this clearly dont play the game for fun. Please do a bunch of maps like this and tell me its fine.

The game is currently not designed around this mechanic. I got 1 shot in a Tier 4 yellow map. I have 75/60/50/10 resists and 25% armor and 30% evasion and 2k life.

I dont even know what killed me, I was just walking up to a Ritual altar which also had a Lightning shrine and I was dead without any reaction time/feedback. I am assuming it was the Lightning shrine ? but i had 50% lightning resistance. So i dont know.

Some monsters still seem to be able to hit you hard. If the game is so punishing the damage needs to be slowed down. Like all the bosses are great and also larger enemies, because they are slow and everything is very well telegraphed (even though some of the tracking is insane and they turn while doing their ability). You can clearly tell when and how they will attack and can be easily dodged.

I feel like trash mobs were just copy pasted from Path of exile 1 where the game is tuned for faster pace.


Please slow down the mobs/their damage intervals. Everything seems to be on Turbo by default when the player are slower than ever.



There is no death log. The game needs a death recap. Even Diablo 3 had it.


Loosing so much content is not fun and I don't think its good for the game's replayability if your progress keeps getting reset.

But spending 20 minutes setting up the juice.
rolling a map
holding that map till you get a juiced boss map
then losing it to an on death effect or some off the cuff random stuff.

I play SC because I only have 3-4 hours to play in a normal day.
and losing 25-30% of that time feels like a forced situation that doesnt need to be in the game.

and with boss fights, just have the boss reset to 100% life but give us the 6 portals.

I know SC KEKW, but HC is a waste of time that the majority of the player base does not have.

Yeah exactly, these kinds of overly harsh death penalties just don't belong in SC. People play SC because they don't like losing progress on death, forcing them to lose the whole map is too much. It's gonna make so many people just quit because they value their time and this game seems designed to waste a lot of it atm
It is not good in last epoch either.

I have been playing since dec 6. I've found 2 citadels in this time, i died on one of them. You need 3 to do the boss. it takes around a week of playing for me if you take out the campaign time for my 3 chars 90 stormweaver, 90 invoker, 76 titan. so in my small sample size it will take roughly 21 days to spawn 1 boss IF you don't die to any citadels. Then there are probably 1 shot mechanics on the boss.

This gives you incentive to just make a 1 shot boss build. or to use tft to take care of all your bosses so the people that play 1 shot boss builds can carry you through it. The same thing with ascending (sanctum/ultimatum).

Honestly i thought ggg was going to design this game where people wouldnt scour the game mechanics for these types of build archetypes. Then i saw a video of the temporalis unique with blink and realized that its only true for the average player. Top end players with 20 hours a day will still be playing poe1.

Just bumping up this post, I was right again. Mobs are too fast and everyone is only picking this up now...


you can't put Poe1 Turbo boosted mobs as baseline in POE2 and say the game is designed to be slow..

Also Give us more defense options ( The candlemass hp was nerf instead) ?! makes no sense. or lower damage of enemies by a lot, telegraphed attacks can still do 75% of you life or 1 shot you, which is okay.
