Porcupine Crabs ruin the game

Porcupine crabs are absolutely insanely overpowered. The poison spitting snakes are a close second.

Porcupine crabs for no apparent reason turn up in every single biome and in cramped places like the cryptes. Their range is much further than the player can see and they spawn in huge groups firing projectiles which dont seem to be any of the 4 elements.

Same think with the poison snakes that can also burrow, they dont seem to be affected by resistances

It's absolute no fun to try the same boring node on maps over and over becasue stupid crabs can snipe you before youre even in visual range.

I tend to agree.

They also, more often than not, spawn in great numbers, and just shotgun you with barbs.
They only add frustration and makes the game less fun.
replacing titty bitches with some crabs? like who thought this would be a good idea? can you even add boobs to a crab? where would they go? would they still jiggle when you die?

They're not overpowered, they're just annyoing because you have to dodge their attacks a lot. Once you've learned that and your char is stronger, they're usually not a problem unless you get hit by a full barrage on a "monsters fire 2 additional projectiles" map.
They're way worse in POE1, at least in POE2 they give you time to get the hell out of the way. C'mon just move it's not that hard.

Walk in their direction at an angle. The volley from the pack will go past the side of you barely. Works in somewhat narrow place like crypts but not much smaller.

Also, CI negates a stupid amount of frustration in this game. I don't even remember how I played warrior or ranger. CI lets you walk through all the bad aoes except burning ground. It lets you ignore pretty much anything "purple" in the game. You can ignore poison and bleeding. Think about trials, lots of free picks there now.

After playing a CI character it feels almost mandatory if I want to enjoy this game.
I fed up with Porcupines also. Massive range, insane stuns as charms are nearly useless piece of garbage and at this point I wonder why do I even use 2 charm slot belt. Freezing porcupines chain freeze with freeze charm anyway, normal ones stun chain, burning ones destroy your gas clouds and you need to run around like idiot.

This is not as bad in open maps and sidewalking will help avoiding them. But in maps like Farudin areas I am just asking myself - when is PoE1 3.26 as mapping in PoE2 is just plain bad and boring. Besides being annoying.
