Character is in end-game but also Travel East quest won't complete properly

It all started with me being completely unable to drop Precursor Tablets. Somehow I haven't dropped a single one for many days now, which went to a point where it no longer seemed like being a case of bad RNG.

Since then I started investigating the root cause and I found out that my 4 trial chaos temple was active again even though I have completed it. So I went back and did it again. I am not sure if that happened because I completely ignored trials and especially chaos temple in cruel.

After completing it again the quests prompted me to enter the normal act 3 gateway again and "enter cruel".

Afterwards it immediately went to the travelling East quest which I can't do, the Hooded Man won't offer the travel option, despite the quest being active in the quest windows.

As shown below:



As can be seen, my character has both the Travel East quest and the "Endgame" section.

If I travel to the first Area of Act 2 the quest "finishes" however whenever I go back to hideout it appears again.



I'm pretty sure this is the reason I haven't dropped a single precursor tablet in over 80 maps as well.

Hello there, im not that far in the game but im on act 2 on the caravan and still have that quest "travel east" avaible and cant complete it. Have you been contacted by anyone from the game? any luck?
