not getting spirit/ boss completion from the mist king act 1. monk

New to poe2 , got a character to 40 before realizing i am missing a critical mechanic in the game. unless monks are meant to not receive the bonus spirit from the campaign bosses this is probably a bug and a rather large handicap in early game.

I was having this problem on every character. It drops at the base of the totem instead of with other gear he drops.

You have to stand at totem and shift your character slightly till A button (for me) shifts to the spirit book from the totem favor button. The A button will move to right slightly. You’ll know and be so happy. 😃

They need to fix this so it drops away from the totem. I’m surprised there’s not numerous people complaining about this.

Anyhow, that’s how you get it. You will roll after getting this. I rolled the boss and continue to roll in Act 2.
