Can we get a map fix?

I like the map and it's easy to follow, however I have to run to the bottom of the instance/area to see what areas I've missed and makes the grind a bit more tedious. I don't know if it's meant to be that way, but it is not helpful in the least and makes it more time consuming than it has to be.
Also can we get a fix on "mappping" so I go into the mud burrow kill everything and go back into clearfell and all the map progress I had is gone and again I have to spend more time uncovering areas I previously had covered and makes the grind a bit more tedious than it has to be.... Other than that I'm loving this game!! Great freaking job GGG!!! Good game!!!

im not sure what you mean by you have to run to the bottom?

are you talking just to move the map? you can move the map with the arrow keys.

pressing tab brings up a full screen map overlay if you didnt realise. much easier to scout missing nooks.
