pls continue working on optimization.
I don't know how much of a thing this is actually, when I hear a game is an Early Access then I kinda in the back of my head assume that optimization (on how well the game runs on your computer) is a big part of work during that stage.
Honestly speaking, I didn't watch any poe2 videos but the first trailer basically before launch because I didn't want to spoiler myself too much, and now I only play hardcore without internet knowledge which makes it an amazing experience. I only played around 13 hrs so far cuz I play wow hc mainly right now, but I love poe2, thank you so much, it rly is amazing. But this also means that I have no idea if further optimizations as mentioned above are even still a big focus of the development for you guys in EA or if you are satisfied right now and that's more of an on the side topic. For me specifically, I run the game on a Ryzen 7 3700X, x570 Aorus Elite, ddr4 16 gb and a 2080 on a ssd, definitely not a new system I'm not trying to argue anything here ^^ but I still think poe2 should run flawlessly on a system like this in the end, internet warriors might say I'm out of touch with reality I'd like to argue differently. Anyway I'm not asking for too much, I'm ok with running everything on low-low, I do not care how much I have to turn down graphic fidelity options if the game runs amazingly in the end, that's all I wanted to say or rather bring to your attention or at least in the realm of possibility of someone in position reading this. Gameplay Issues: I feel the most pressing right now, from me as a Controller player preferably nowadays, are basically -more intelligent targeting, a lot of the time targeting on controller goes way off if you let go of the right stick, or you are not constantly on the right, controller support for poe is something I was very grateful for, but it was lacking/still is, and I hoped for more improvement in that aspect especially for poe2 I feel better controls are imperative. -dodge-rolling I get the design vision behind it and I think it's cool, but I also imagine is hard to pull off correctly, right now tho I'm more scared of getting stuck, which in turn always makes me lean towards a more "kiting backwards" kinda play-style, I personally think the brain-dead teleporting through mobs dodge-roll is more suited for arpg's especially if spaces are not big, dark and have a lot of movement impairing clutter on the ground, but I also like the approach you are taking and simply hope u can make it work, I'm actually pretty certain you will, so I'm excited rather! -dedicated balancing for hc and ssf, it's something poe1 was missing and poe2 is such an amazing game that I hope you can change your stance in that regard or get the resourced needed this time around.
