Accuracy feels bad.

Title stated, I don't think Accuracy should be removed.
There's not really any other good options to give the Dex stat.

However in its current state Accuracy is just a feel bad mechanic.
It is just a punishment if you don't have it, and there's no reward for stacking accuracy.
All accuracy does is avoid a punishment.

Glancing Hit / Normal Hit / Direct Hit would feel nicer.
GGG guys are much better with figuring out numbers and specifics than I am.
The only input I do have is that a Glancing Hit has to mirror what Direct Hit does.
You have to be willing to give us what you take away.

So currently, since a glancing hit (miss) removes 100% of the damage a Direct Hit would have to double damage. That's probably too much as Direct Hits would stack with crits. But you get the idea.

I don't think I have to say this, but just in case, this is just for player accuracy. The way monster accuracy works with player evasion is fine. It's already bad enough that bosses can crit, don't give them direct hits too.

----------------

Otherwise I'll just continue to use the *Resolute Technique node and just flat out ignore Accuracy. PoE2 was greatly improved by turning off Accuracy. If turning off a mechanic makes the game better, then that mechanic is a problem.

*Your Hits can't be Evaded

And the stat is much too common in Augmenting / Exalting. Holy crap, I can't get through a single item without that showing up. We need an earlier-game way to avoid it or it should have weights against showing up on items that already have caster stats.

The frustration is sky-high on this.
