Suggestions About Act 3 Boss Doryani
Of course, many people have defeated this boss. Congratulations! But it is very difficult for me right now. The reason is not that I am weak or can't do it. The requirements to pass this boss;
1- A skill that can jump long distances 2- High HP Infernalist does not have either of these. Don't you think there is a mistake here? If I can adjust my Strength before the next try, I will need to get a skill that can jump long distances. Or I will need to change my passive tree to increase my health points just to pass this boss. So why? Only when the boss enters phase 2, the part where the machine falls on you cannot be avoided. Rolling does not work. My level is too low for the Blink skill. Am I wrong or do GGG need to make a change here. Last bumped on Dec 16, 2024, 8:22:24 AM

" When Dory makes the robot explode, run to one side of the arena and then to the other side. it should give you enough time to escape the falling robot part. The AoE circle is really big so if you dont bait the floating robot part into a corner you might not be outside the AoE when it falls. My Witch is made of glass and shes EXTREMELY slow. I didnt use blink or anything. Just two feet and a heartbeat haha Listen for the audio que and make sure to run to the corner as soon as you see its doing the falling attack. Good luck! I hope this helps :D |

I'm asuming you are talking about big slam that follows you at phase 2? I don't think many people have jump skill. you can avoid it though just keep running and dodge roll to get out of zone quickly when it slows down. if you are still in the zone, you still take damage.
as for health pool, as a witch you have access to energy shield. if you invest into it basically you have double life (or far more) and you can get "damage taken from mana before life" nodes, or directly mind over matter but it can make it difficult to cast spells during campaign so i would recommend small damage redirection instead. if you really need it that is. that slam did caught me offguard as well at first, but after few tries you learn it :) please buff chaos dot spells and curses Last edited by Blue78#6741 on Dec 16, 2024, 7:32:40 AM

I will try what you said. Thanks but;
I am not talking about the first attack, the blue area, the next attack opens a yellow area, I am talking about that. No matter what I did, I could not get rid of it. The blue area remains fixed, I can get out of it, and it does not do much damage. I am talking about the yellow area, the area where the robot does not break apart, but instead deliberately attacks from above, it follows me for a while and prevents me from leaving the area. |

Maybe you're a bit under-leveled? I don't remember that fight to be challenging with my infernalist.

" You may be right, I don't think it's possible to kill the boss before he goes to phase 2, but I can still go to phase 2 in about 30 seconds, his health drains quickly. His robot's health drains quickly too, my damage is high, but I can't get out of that yellow area. Maybe level 45 is low for this boss, I'm not sure, but if I gain a few more levels, will my hp increase? I should probably use "life before mana" to pass this boss or rearrange my health and energy points without decreasing my damage too much |

Since I couldn't beat this boss, I watched the video to see where I was going wrong and I saw only 1 person who could escape this damage. I think it was a Warrior and he jumped and moved away to escape, but that wasn't enough and he rolled once.
In the other videos, everyone was taking this damage; but they weren't dying. As I said, I have 2 options, either I will increase my health or I will get the ability to move away. |

You don't need a jump, just recognise when the boss breaks up and starts flying above you and start moving.
He will move with you a bit, then stop and you should have enough time to keep moving to the edge then just roll away the last bit to get out. It's easier with some move speed on your boots ofc. |

" This. I had +20% MS on my boots both times I fought him and had no trouble dodging the big tracking circle AoE. You just move your normal movement speed without attacking until the circle starts slowing down, then dodge out. Didn't get hit by that ability even once that I recall. Also, the elements he uses always appear to be lightning/fire or lightning/cold. Would be a good idea to stack fire/cold resist on gear (insofar as you can) and bring a topaz charm. |

Haven't noticed any issues with my slow-ass warrior (only got +ms boots in cruel) with 1100-smth hp.
