Spirit Gems are impossible to get.

Why has GGG made the drop rate for spirit gems so low?
The punishment for choosing the wrong gem is ridiculously severe :(

Ive farmed for about 10 hours now in act 3 and haven't gotten a single one so far, Ive got x2 lvl 2 support gems and about x20 lvl 10 skill gems

whats the go with making the spirit gem so rare?> is there a reason?
this feels like the worst game design choice they could've made
im honestly thinking of just giving up on the game because the suggestions from the reddit posts are to restart a new character and farm the x2 guaranteed gems that you get from the story and then brick that character just to make the first one viable


wtf were they thinking. also where is the menu for spirit gems if i dont have one....it isnt even in the game


GGG really messed up here, more so than the poor gear drop rate from launch IMO

you need to farm bosses brother or rare monsters

it never dropped.
turns out just trading with a higher level player who didnt need them worked. ive now finished the campaign and still never saw another 1 drop

this item has got to be the rarest in the game

Adding to that, in SSF league you can basically brick your char, because if you want respec to another spirit gem and you need basic level of it (don't have enough stats), you have to farm zones appriopriate for this spirit level gem to drop. Good luck.
