Act 2 Cruel Diffculty Traitors passage quest

So i recently made it to maps but i cant ascend de to the Traitors passage quest begin bugged. I've done the quest over 15 times to see if it would complete but it doesn't just keeps saying Search Traitors Passage - I know you have to defeat balbala which i did over 15 times to see if the quest would clear - So here i am with over 28 hrs. on a charter whom cant ascend to 5 and 6 points. TBH i dont even wanna play anymore because for 1) i dont wanna roll another character just wasted tons of playtime - 2) what if it just bugs out again im honestly mad that it had to bug on me. stupid game fix ur game i cant recommend a game that bugs out and bricks your character due to a quest line objective that doesnt work when you complete it.

Traitors Passage is bugged doesn't not complete the quest for Ascent to Power in Act 2 Cruel Difficulty. so then you cant Ascent which is the whole point to play

I got this bug too, but I noticed that I got the quest early on when I accidentally placed the QUEST ITEM Djinn Barya in my inventory way back Act 1 Cruel. I noticed that the Ascent to Power quest was already added. I think it needs to detect that you have the quest item djinn barya on your inventory after defeating Balbala, but there could be many more factors involved. But this is my hunch.

i encountered this one too i think, after finishing the boss at vistri, it told me to do the traitor passage thing. and i cannot find the quest. Turns out i just need enter the caravan door at act 2 cruel to progress to the game. i hope i understood your problem correctly.

Got stuck here at this bug too. Put in 60 hours of faithful gameplay and MONEY, to encounter this impossible bug. I think it’s because during the first campaign in Act 3 I didn’t do the 2nd ascension immediately and moved on to Cruel. Somehow I lost the Chimeral Inscribed Ultimatum and I can’t seem to find out. I’ve searched traitors passage for hours, beat the Balbala chick multiple times, even went to trial of Temple Chaos and farmed in Chimeral wetlands for the Chimeral Inscribed Ultimatum with no luck, and I’m still stuck.

They should add a feature where you can purchase quest items any time you get stuck when something like this.

My best bet is helping out random parties in the social menu hoping I would pick up a quest item, but for hours I’m still having no luck.


I love my monk build, invested my time and energy… and it would sucks balls to have to start over :(

It’s so funny how they will nerf all these classes, yet not fix this bug.

Encountered the same issue, died the first time in Act 2 Cruel difficulty and forget to complete the quest before defeat the Act 2 boss. The Quest "Search Traitor's Passage" still active, even the traitor has been killed for over 10 times. Trial of the Sekhemas keep in level 22...... seems it is bugged.

its been fixed just ignore trying to complete the quest again you dont have to lol
