Give us at least minimal character customization
|
I know this is a minor thing but at the same time the cost to implement is quite low as well.
Many games have minimal character customization. 5 hair styles with 5 accessories is already more than enough, just so we can differentiate our playthroughs in a more fun and engaging way. Please GGG. With my best regards. -A fan! Last bumped on Dec 15, 2024, 8:14:08 PM

" Don't count on it. I don't really have a problem with the idea but its largely meaningless. Nobody is paying attention to their avatar's visuals by the time they hit endgame. Hairstyles are covered up by 90% of gear AND cosmetics. It would by and large just end up as largely wasted dev time. As shown by the fact PoE1 has existed for 11 years with 0 character customization and nobody has really batted an eye at it. There's also the element that the classes in PoE are actual characters in-universe. IE, the Warrior being the son of the blacksmith in Act 1 and having been a part of Ogham since well before the count went insane. That's why they have their own opinions and reactions to everything that happens. There isn't really a "fantasy" that the avatar is "your character" in PoE like in other RPGs. Rather, its more just predetermined individuals who you happen to control. |
