Fire skills need more crit chance

Idk why the infernalist has a crit Ascendancy node when fire spells have such low chance.

this needs to be fixed asap.
Fire spell users are really hurting right now.

Idk why cold skill get 11-13% base crit and fire only gets 7%

this system feels like doodoo.

Yeh it is VERY counterintuitive that ice spells have the best crit...
I mean thematically speaking.

-Lighting and electricity is erratic by nature. It arcs whichever way in a near completely unpredictable way unless guided and focused.
So it makes sense to give it the best crit chance with the biggest disparity from min to max range.

-Fire when pictured. You think chaotic yet purposeful power, ebbing flames or explosions.
Equally predictable as it is wild.
So it makes sense for it to be the middle of the road with decent crit chance and a normal min to max damage range.

-Ice is entropy and order. It is conceptually rigid, solid with structure. You know exactly what you are looking at and how it would behave. It does not get less random than lack of movement!
So it should be the element with the least crit chance but almost no difference between the min to max damage range.

The way these 3 elements are done in POE 2 Makes no sense to me.
Both in terms of physics or an "art" point of view.

But i dont think they would change it now XD

Lightning already deals the most random damage without crits.
Fire deals more rough damage.
Ice, with its rigid sharp projectiles, rely on crits.

It's fine. Not everything should be the same.

Dont forget their secondary effect

Fire is ingite so extra damages that can crit too. and scale decently well if you spec into it.

Ice slow down so no extra damages

Electricty aggravate every source of damages 20% on anything is quite strong

fire usually roll their crit twice once for impact once for explosion and sometime even once more for extra projectiles and stuff.

ice usually have only one instance of damages.
