Act 2 Cruel: Cannot travel to sandstorm

I'm in act 2 cruel, have recreated the Horn and have the quest to travel to the sandstorm to clear it. However, the caravan does not have the option to travel to the sandstorm.
The only other thing is that the traitor's passage quest for ascension won't go away; I've defeated Balbala, but it's still there.

I am having the exact same issue. at the front of the caravan it still shows the marker to blow the horn but the quest item to blow the horn is missing

i have horn but unable to travel or use it to clear path.... i did many time same path, killed traitor, ... but cant travel straight forward ot it or use horn... stucked in front of sandstorm... cant play anymore.

you have to use horn in helm of caravan ship, just go past asala and use it there, no need to go to map, get to halani gate marker and walk to point on caravan at which you use horn.

You ppls are misinterpreting that you have to go to sandstorm area after Jamanra fight.
