How do I accept trade offers?

After I got invited into the hideout and he trades me I have to press Start to accept? But this does not work for me for some reason.

at the bottom of the trade screen you should see a button with the with light circling around it, you hold that button down to accept the trade. make sure you have room in your bag for the items.
