[Feedback] Ascendancy Trials & Honor System

Disclaimer: I am approaching this feedback as a casual gamer dad with not a whole lot of time to play and as an average ARPG player in terms of skill/knowledge. If this becomes a discussion, please do not bring the "git gud" attitude. I think we can collectively agree that Trials are at best plain unfun.

The Ascendancy Trials system needs to be reworked. I like that you have a sort of gauntlet you need to get through to earn your Ascendancy but the Honor system feels so bad for melee classes/weapons. There are just too many enemies that are melee unfriendly and getting losing Honor by getting hit just feels really bad.

I'd be absolutely fine if I failed a Trial by dying to a mob, a bad dodge roll away from a fatal ability, a boss mechanic, literally anything other than losing because I got hit too many times.

Moreover, the RNG with the maps in Trials can end up completely bricking a run and that doesn't feel great either. I think that could be an easy fix in terms of just coding in some sort of algorithm that prevents any two negative modifiers that may be considered "Trial bricking" from appearing directly next to each other and being the only available path to take. Maybe easier said than done but there is my suggested fix on that one.

I absolutely love this game and I know the devs are listening and GGG is a good company and I believe this game will succeed. Hell, I *never* post feedback on EA games, yet here I am.

The old system was better even if it was boring to run. Its much harder to run some of these mechanics with out pinpoint movement that you get on a mouse and keyboard setup. The player experience is really bland through story at the moment.
